The Wise One would be more suitable... Alex would be an assist trophy where he deals damage to everyone on the field, including allies.

I don't know, I think I need some evidence that proves Alex to be a good guy or Antihero.

Alex to me always felt like he was the Ganondorf of Golden Sun, look at him,

He claims he's all for himself

He often calls Isaac a enemy, explain that,

He doubts Saturos and Menardi could be beaten and acts like he didn't want that to happen

Then he tells Karst Isaac killed Menardi so she would seek him out and avenge her sister

Heals Felix's team knowing Karst and Agatio might attack them

Heals Karst and Agatio after Felix defeats them, what is he doing?

Claims the Golden Sun power and acts like he has the Triforce of Power trying to rule the world with a evil storm

Perhaps Blados and Chalis were created by Alex using Dark Binding, seriously where did these goons come from?

He falls in love with Veriti and has Amiti, but why I bring this up is could he have plans to turn Amiti evil?

He often questions why Mia is so kind as if he has a hard time being kind like Mia

He deceives everyone by acting as their ally, then he turns heel on them all in a process of trying to become all powerful.

I think Alex want nothing more than the complete Golden Sun power so he can rule Weyard as its High Emperor, yes I think he is the High Emperor himself.

He does everything he did to help his own self, but In Dark Dawn, he had no purpose for the Eclipse Tower, yet he helped activate it anyway for no reason at all.he questions Blados and Chalis at the end. He doesn't trust them. Maybe they are endangering Weyard. The wise one said Alex and him would meet again if Alex survived. Did they encounter yet? if so, what happened during the encounter? The storm was for him to get a feel at his power.

I'm guessing the reason Alex did what he did in DD was so that the group could live up to their family name. If Isaac was his enemy then why did Alex give Matthew the warning to not go into the very source of light? Why did he stall Blados and Chalis? He helped Matthew in the end.

@Agatio:  How about this, then?  There are no evil people in Golden Sun.  Everyone tends to have reasons for doing what they're doing.  Saturos and Menardi?  Trying to save the world.  Karst?  Overwhelmed with grief.  Agatio?  Being by Karst's side in her time of need.  The Wise One?  Making sure that the world's actually ready for alchemy's return, and that there are champions ready and worthy to stop the immediate problems that will arise.  Hell, even Dodonpa isn't so much evil as he is a greedy spoiled brat - there's no actual Malice, just simple greed.

This sets up a pattern - everyone does things for real, legit reasons.  Alex?  He probably has a very good reason for doing what he's doing.  He probably knows of something that's coming, and knows that he needs power to stop it.  The problem is, though, most people don't want someone with that much power, so he has to be sneaking and manipulative to get it.  And ultimately, he'll fail.  Why?  Because that trope is done all the time - hell, this is what Magus was in Chrono Trigger!  Trying to stop the final boss!  He ultimately failed, though, because despite all that power, he's only one man.  This is why the heroes will defeat him and succeed where he failed.  A lone man might fail and even setup his own downfall, but by having the main heroes combine their efforts, it's easy to see the uberfoe fall.  Perhaps even with Alex's help, though probably not in the playable magus style.

Eh, I'd either create a side series akin to FFT to FF, or would remake the first three first with redone balance and story.  Some with heavier changes than others...

Rolina seems to have a great idea of how to make the series.

If I was remake the series, I would,

Make Isaac be the main character in all games as in playable in battle and on the map

Make the option of being able to choose who you want running around on the map, like in the FF series

Saturos would have survived the Venus Lighthouse event and became good guy and would join Isaac as a playable character

Piers would have a different name altogether

Alex would actually battle as a reoccurring boss battle

Dark Dawn characters Matthew, Tyrell, and Rief wouldn't exist

Would of stuck with Sveta's storyline

Karis would of been Ivan's cousin instead of his daughter

Nowell would of been Mia's sister instead of her daughter

Amiti would of been Alex's brother instead of his son

Eoleo and Himi would have always remained npcs

I'd also create a fighting game that featured all Golden Sun characters battling each other.

You see, I'd get rid of Sveta as a whole and change DD's plot to be less "I'm so perfect Sveta! I'mza gonna be savin e'ryone!"

I'm sorry, but Sveta was just too awesome for me to consider saying she never existed.

I might of changed some of her storyline up a bit though, such as she will fight big bird and like it.

I also would have made the other beastmen look more humanoid like how Sveta was.

A huge thing I would have changed was boat travel, I would have included the teleport lapis so you could go wherever you want any time you want.

Another thing I was always sick of running around Ei jei, in which was a boring area unless you want to visit Ayuthay and not being able to go anywhere without using the stupid boat and because of that stupid wall.

Therefore no more Endless wall of communism preventing us from roaming around to our hearts content.

They seem to use it as though it's just some generic swear word. :/

It's a type of economic policy, though.  In the same category of thing as Capitalism and Socialism.  Calling a wall a communist is like calling a blade of grass sexy.  It makes no god damned sense.

Does Soviet Russia ring a bell, yes I know what it is, it was one of my favorite things to study in History class.

Who put that there, the Mayor of Alhafra?

I get you're talking about how it's like the Berlin Wall, but thr Russians were Socialists, not communists.

Back to Alex. I would like to see him appear durring an unbeatable boss and go Big D*mn Hero on it in a cutscene just to show how powerful he is.

We definitely need to talk about Alex now.

I would love to see him a unbeatable boss, I was hoping he'd do that in Dark Dawn, it's better than Chalis and Blados aka two pointless villians that just down right shouldn't exist because Alex is a boss.
