If you have recently looked at our total members here at TLW, you might have noticed our members have gone down by about 50.
I have began banning multiple bots on both IP and hostname, which means that they will not be able to come back.
When banning some of them, I started from the most recently joined and went backwards from there.
I found that on more than one occasion, one of the account's IP addresses overlapped, meaning they came from the same computer or same general area of one of the prior accounts I had banned.
In short, I'm banning a lot of people.
From today to November 25th alone, there were about 50 registered accounts.
Meaning in two weeks, over 50 bots created an account here. That's disgusting.
I'll be trying to do about 50 a week, which will delete any accounts created that week, plus another week's worth of accounts.
I will also be constantly monitoring the "Who's Online" page, as there are many guests on there at any given time.
Please continue to report any and all suspicious posts as they come up. U all do gewd jawbz!
When the King comes back I'm going to ask him to up the security when creating an account. I'm hoping to ask him to make either Maegra or myself an Admin. That way we might be able to make some progress.
