Both FS games and Triforce Heroes are the only ones I haven't played.

For my money, Four Swords Adventures is the most underrated Zelda game. It's like if a Link to the past wasn't a glorified reskin.

Is it even possible to play those games anymore without emulation?

I still have our Gamecube actually, but the Wii I have has no backwards compatibility.
But don't you need the GBA-GCN link cable and IRL friends? Niether of which I have. >_>

So it's the first FS game that requires more players then?

Yep, as Four Swords was a gba multiplayer game. Adventures was a stand alone gcn title that I nearly beat (I was at the final level) but my dad accidentally corrupted the memory card. I haven't played it in about 9 years because of this.

Guess I didn't see it as a port, and apparently an enhanced one at that. Crazy, guess my standards were just too high.

What does anyone think of the TP port? I don't think getting an amiibo is worth the extra levels, and I already finished the game on the Wii, but my brother never got to finish it before it broke down.

I'm getting it. Hero Mode alone is going to help fix a lot of the problems I have with the game, plus I don't have any TP swag. Figured the game+amiibo would be nice to have. Plus, it's one of my favorite games of all time, so I'm down for playing again, esp. on Hero Mode. Sure, I could just play my GC version, but it looks like ass on both our TVs.

Still think it should have been a NX launch title though.

So I beat it on Hero Mode.
The game starts off hard on this mode and gets easier the further you progress. Having only 3 hearts with no recovery as Wolf Link is brutal. It made me play the game very differently from how I did on the GC version.
I only died twice though, and both times were when I still had 3 hearts. After that, it was pretty smooth sailing. Since I was playing more cautiously and defensively, I was even able to do the Cave of Ordeals with no problems.

The Cave of Shadow? Totally different story. That's by far the hardest challenge in the game on Hero Mode. I've died twice in it so far.

Aside from all that, yeah, it pretty much looks like a 7th gen game now instead of a late 6th gen. It still looks good, just like the original did, except it's HD now.
