The Spellblade vs. The... Scorpio...

[Scorpio]

Let us show each other the finer points of battle! Lay on! (A friendly match in a desert OK?)

[Tetsu (Soltur)]

(I like to conduct my battles as stories, if it's all the same to you.)

Soltur strode into the middle of the desert to find Scorpio. The battle is at hand. He waited for Scorpio to make a move.

[Scorpio]

(If you like the way I tell a story, I may make an RP for multiple people to join. It would have original characters and settings. This is sort of a test.) "Ah, the Spellblade... I've been waiting for someone strong enough to ease my boredom. Let us see if your skills are truly as great as it's said they are. I give you first move."

[Tetsu (Soltur)]

Soltur nodded and hurled a fireball at Scorpio.

[Scorpio]

The Fireball orbits Scorpio and shoots back at Soltur. "You really thought fire was the best thing to use one me?"

[Tetsu (Soltur)]

Soltur smirked as the fireballs collided with him, but there was no damage. "You're right: I forgot that you were a manipulator of flame," he said. He hurled a wave of light at Scorpio.

[Scorpio]

"I believe you need to know your enemy before you fight." Scorpio shoots a wall of flame to protect him from the light wave.

[Tetsu (Soltur)]

Somehow, the light burst right through the flame wall! "You need to learn the capabilities of enemies," replied Soltur casually.

[Scorpio]

"Ah... You seem to want a game of one-upsmanship."

Scorpio gets his arm cut off by the light wave, but he regenerates it out of flame.

[Tetsu (Soltur)]

"Impressive," said Soltur. He shot a beam of light at Scorpio again.

[Scorpio]

Scorpio kicks up sand and melts it into glass, reflecting Soltur's attack. *Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."

[Tetsu (Soltur)]

Soltur extends his hand with his palm facing the beam and the energy flies into the air. "Good tactic," said Soltur. "But not good enough.* Soltur manipulates the air around him, bending it around him to make himself invisible.

[Scorpio]

The ground starts spouting flames as high as ten feet, making a maze of mirrors. "Invisibility won't mean a thing if you cannot find the real me."

[Tetsu (Soltur)]

"Ah, but you are the only thing that is visible," replied Soltur. "So you've defeated yourself."

[Scorpio]

"We will see, Spellblade."
