Hey guys! after a response from Indecisive about weapons in my "Things one uses to hurt people and wildlife" poll, I decided to make this topic about what new weaponry you would like in golden sun 4 (Should it come out, as we have no conformation that it is for sure coming out)

I know this is hard, knowing the people here (myself included) but do try to be realistic.

Who am I kidding, that's not going to happen. Put whatever you want.

I'd like to see weapons increase stats other than attack. A sword or staff can also be used for blocking...

Makes sense. Some armor boosts attack, so why can't weapons boost defense.

Since staves are generally the weakest weapons, they could have artifact and elemental staves that, when equipped, add a couple of psynergy powers to the wielder's spell list.

There could also be a really powerful greataxe or something that raises attack like crazy, but lowers defense and agility.

The greatness of these ideas are awesome! Staves do Kinda Suck. the only way to get two of the three best staves in Dark Dawn is from rare drops (And DD doesn't have an exploitable RNG system.

Since maces and ankhs are also weaker, those artifacts should increase elemental resistance. Whoever wields a bow is more likely to dodge, but takes a bit more physical damage.

There should also be enemies who are very strong against physical or elemental attacks, but weak against the other.

There are some that heal HP or PP with the special attacks... I think there should be more of those, especially now that there's multiple specials per weapon though.
