^Summarizes my feelings on this pretty well. Dark Dawn kind of showed me how difficult it'd be to keep the series going. It was definitely the same style and a continuation of the GS series, but it felt a bit too detached and different to me. I think they tried a little too hard at lowering the bar to introduce new fans to the series, but all in all I think it was good.

The first two GS were so well done, I'm almost skeptical that any subsequent ones will match or exceed them. Even if any sequels don't, I'd be happy just to have them.

Getting back on topic, I do remember some mention around the time of Dark Dawn coming out that (paraphrased) "If the player base/fans demand it enough, we'll make a sequel. However, it'll take time." Taking that into account and not seeing a lot of hype for the series, I'm gonna agree with Halcyonic on this one.

He was one of the few Brawl ATs that got his own theme, and he's been left off of the AT list for the new one. He's also one of the most requested characters along with the likes of Mewtwo, Roy, and Rosalina, who actually got in, so he has a good chance.
