To me it is definetely: Mercury  ...
...for it is the most elegant one in Golden Sun. A typical Mercury Adept remains calm and waits for the right time to strike back and is a good balanced out one in battle. Mass Healing Powers and terrifying Prism Hails in one character... plus my favorite characters are Alex, Mia and Piers. Now the funny part: Yes, you already noticed: All of them are Mercury adepts... xD

I can't help but feel this poll is somewhat bias, I mean this forum is called The Lost Waters: it was hardly going to be the other elements winning was it?!?!

It's not like every member has to be a mercury fan just because the forum's name is "The Lost Waters." I just happened to stumble over it, but my opinion wouldn't change just because the name might've been "The Lost Winds" or "The Lost Fire" <- Yeah, pretty creative.... just an example anyway. To me it's more like a coincidence...   I mean, take a look at the exact numbers. Of all our dear members only 5 persons voted? That's not enough to tell if it's because of the forum's name.

Mine would be......... Jupiter 

Explanation: A Jupiter Adept is more often than not of the Mage style. They have very high Agility stats, a large Psynergy pool to draw power from, and naturally powerful and a wide array of Psynergy to choose from. Their Hit Points, Defense, and Attack are usually less than desired, however. Their primary weapons are Staves, but they are not limited to those only. They have been known to equip melee weapons like Light Blades and Maces, and even distance weapons such as Bows & Arrows. All in all, a very powerful class that is far from something to sneeze at. You should really think twice before challenging any Jupiter Adept on any high altitude areas or any windy areas.  :)

So? Our Psynergy pwnz. No one challenges a Jupiter Adept to battle and lives. Unless or course, they're inside a room with no windows/open doors, or in a place with a lot of metal/heavy objects. (No wind flow/place for lightening to come through and Electricity conductors/places to grab onto from wind. D:)
