I intended to make this thread as a failsafe, but hopefully it never comes to that and this remains a positive thread. I consider the people I've met here my friends, and should this forum cease to harbor any activity, or the rest of us discontinue to post and talk here, we can still keep in touch. Of course, if you don't wish to do this, that is your decision to make, not mine, but please give the thread a go-over before you decide.
I'm regretting not doing this sooner, but you know how it is, this is considered personal info, and I don't like posting it anywhere where people can find it. But it has felt like this place is slowly fading away for the past year. Long-time members have left us, and those who are still here are infrequently seen. New members say hi and leave immediately. And last but not least, interest in Golden Sun, the series responsible for all the time we've shared here, has waned so much, it's at a point where the future of the franchise is pretty nonexistent. We're at a point now where the death of activity here is in the forseeable future, at least in my point of view. I'd prefer it not to come to that, but it's something that needs to be considered.
I feel like I shouldn't have to mention this because it's pretty common sense, but this is NOT a means of giving out sensitive personal information, such as your real name, address, phone numbers, etc. This is meant to be online only. What you decide to share somewhere outside of TLW is up to you, but let's play by the rules while we're here, mmkay?
Now, here are what I consider "safe" to share here:
Website profiles (other forums, social media, etc.)
Blogs
Youtube/Twitch profiles
Steam/Origin/etc. profiles
Xbox Live ID
Playstation Network ID
Nintendo Network ID
3DS/Wii Friend codes
E-mails I do not recommend sharing here, but since there is an option to display your e-mail below your avatar, it can't really be disallowed. Still, the last thing we need are a bunch of Mapboambaipt's and MumFuttenue's spamming our inboxes once they detect our e-mail addresses here.
Lastly, if you're still unsure about posting your stuff here, but still want to keep in touch, do what I'm about to do in the next post by typing it onto an image in Paint. Then, just attach it to your post. It'll be undetectable by bots and the like if that concerns you.
And now, let the stalking begin.
