Personally, I think, given how everything's done, with headshots and sprites, that it's expected, but I can see like, maybe surprise in character design in general.

It is a shame, though. I go up to people "Have you ever heard of Golden Sun?" Their typical reply is "What is that?" It makes me quite sad. ;-;

It was one of the highest rated GBA games through it's lifespan, you'd think more people would know about it.
