I like Arcanus better then Ace :D

They should have kept Stella, it was good enough already D:

WHOA, WHOA, WHOA...

So, Alex is now suddenly Arcanus? I'm willing to believe that's an alias, but why the hell make Heart and Spade Chalis and Blados? That just sounds lame.

I think that Blados is slightly more cooler than Spade.

I din't like Arcanus. It's sounds wrong([it just does). Chalis and Blados are cool, but remind me of Mexican food...and I seriously don't want to think of Mexican Food when I'm playing DD. I like Sveta better than Stella. In my opionion, it matches the character's appearance more.
Is Amiti supposed to be that guy that reminds me of :piers: ??
...... Harumani ya him....

This might be spoilers, but it's just how the name Ace came in the first place.

!SPOILER ALERT?!

Quote
Ace is the name Alex chose for himself because in JP, they both start with the same Katakana(or something xD) and well, it fit the Spade and Heart theme.
Hoping for a new GS game :D

Blados, Arcanus, and Chalice is 10x better then Spade, Ace, and Heart. Sorry but I dislike generic names like that...these names are actual names with a near similar meaning behind them, I'll go with Chalice, Arcanus, and Blados any day.

I thought Blados, Chalis and Arcanus had no relations... Looks like they are part of the tarot cards.

Blados is terribly lame. Like "Swordy".

And Chalice might as well be called Wreath, or Ferret, or some other random noun. >_>

At least Ace, Spade, and Heart had an acceptable common theme.

Seriously. "Blados"

BIG screw-up on the localization department's part.

No they don't. Didn't you read MY post?

Spade, Heart, and Ace, yes, obviously. Their names are all card suites.

But not Blados, Chalice, and Arcanus. Their names have no related theme whatsoever. One's a random surname, one's a random noun, and the other's a random adjective. How could that possibly be better than Spade, Heart, and Ace?

Upon closer look one could find that "Blade" and "Chalice" are the Japanese equivalent to Spade and Heart, but that doesn't include Arcanus, and they pointlessly turned Blade into Blados.

What it comes down to is this: If the already English names, Spade, Heart, and Ace were good enough for Camelot, why not stick with that?

Chalis refers to chalices / cups, the tarot suit equivalent to hearts. Blados refers to swords / blades, the tarot suit equivalent to spades. And Arcanus refers to the major and minor arcana, the major being the trumps and the minor being the larger deck our current deck is based on.

... That.
Hoping for a new GS game :D
