They're green.

Yeah, but personally, I would've stuck with the Kikuichimonji. I would've went around and slaughtered enemies 'til I had enough money.

actually when you get the sol blade you dont need the kikuichimonji to slaughter enemies. felix, or isaac does that for you.(or maybe even garet) oooh! i found this thing where someone created there own transfer data code to make it so where you can have two sol blades

BUT: Ivan canNOT wield the Sol Blade. I prefer to have each character wield the best weapons possible.
Odds are, whoever did that used some form of cheating system, such as an AR or Gameshark.

Well, once you get that code and far enough in the game where you have the entire late-game party, so won't need to be hiding in dat corner anymore. XD

There has been some "confusion" and/or a few "different opinions"

I have both the swift sword and kookiemongie (Kikuichimonji.) It would be my pleasure to lay down some numbers for ya'll.

Ivan Lv. 40

HP/495
PP/287

Attack: 289
Defense: 223
Agility: 334
Luck: 7

Swift Sword
Lucky Cap
Vambrace
Feathered Robe
Hyper Boots

Now, When I attacked a Poison Toad; Swift Sword's Sonic Smash let out a howl and did 293 Damage! (THIS WAS IT'S FULL TRIPLE SMASH UNLEASH)

Now, next Swift Sword's Sonic Smash let out a how and did 99 Damage! (THIS WAS FROM ONE SMASH... NOT THREE)

Now, When I attacked it again Swift Sword did not unleash (Normal attack) and did 83 damage.

OK, so let's replace Swift Sword with our nice fancy "kookiemongie"

OK SO LISTEN UP! I attacked a Poison Toad and kookiemongie's unleash (Asura) did 183 damage!

Once again I struck a blow to the Poison Toad and kookiemongie did 99 damage! (Normal attack)

In conclusion, it's safe to say that Kookiemongie's damage is much more consistent and "safer" that Swift Sword. BUT if Swift Sword Unleashes and you get your timing right you can get all the Sonic Smashes in. Max damage from Swift Sword was 293 and Kookiemongie was 183. In my humble and doctored opinion Swift Sword is the "Best Weapon for Ivan."

Let me know If I need to clear anything up!

That is true, BUT, your Ivan was Level 40. In the lower levels, the Kikuichimonji is the better option, since you have a lower attack power.

How does that work?

I'm not sure I follow you man  :(

Here's how that works:

Kikuichimonji

-Equipping the Kikuichimonji increases the wielder's Attack by 128 points.
-Asura may ignore half of the target's defense and tacks on another 64 points of damage.

Swift Blade

-Equipping the Swift Blade increases the Attack of itd wielder by 104 points and ups their Jupiter Power by 10.
-Sonic Smash does up to triple the damage of one standard attack.

Let's Put This Into Perspective

-Since Ivan is low-leveled, then even with the Swift Blade, one strike wouldn't do that much damage.
-Now, let's say you were HALF the level and could only do HALF the damage.
--If, in this scenario, the Swift Blade unleashed Sonic Smash and struck once, it'd do 50 damage.
--Now, I can take the Asura unleash's output and subtract 64 from it, since Asura adds 64 points of damage. That leaves 119. Cut it in half (since you can double the damage by ignoring half the defense) and you get 60 for the base damage. Now, we don't need to half that; we just don't double it. Add 64 and we get a damage output of 124...and more frequently than our 150. See how close they're getting...and these are just approximations.
